By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, August 24, 2019: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday paid floral tributes to former Union Minister Arun Jaitley at New Delhi.
Several leaders across political spectrum arrived at the departed leader’s residence in south Delhi to pay last respects.
Patnaik recalled Jaitley as an “excellent parliamentarian, (and) a fine minister” who will be missed by many.
Deeply saddened to hear about passing away of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley ji. He was a distinguished lawyer, parliamentarian and an erudite person. His contribution to governance has been profound. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and followers.

Naveen was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Pinaki Mishra, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan among others.
Jaitley, 66, passed away on Saturday at noon at the AIIMS here after prolonged illness and is survived by his wife and children. The BJP stalwart’s body was later brought to his residence at Kailash Colony.
