By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, March 29, 2016 : A special court on Tuesday ordered confiscation of assets of former deputy manager of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd (OHPC) Dilip Mohanty in a (DA) case.

The court ordered confiscation of properties of the former deputy manager worth Rs 1.76 crore.

In September 2015, the vigilance court here had sentenced Dilip Mohanty to three years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) and imposed

Rs 10 lakh fine in connection with a DA case registered against him in 2004.

In case of default of payment of fine, he would undergo another 15 months imprisonment, the special court said.

Mohanty’s wife Krushna Priya was also sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 and and additional one month imprisonment in default of payment of fine.
