By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, January 31, 2022: Odisha on Monday extended the night curfew by one hour from 10 pm to 5 pm from February 1 till the end of the month.
The stae government also released the Covid-19 unlock guidelines which will remain in force for the entire month of February.
As per the notification released by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), night curfew will continue in all urban areas of the State. However, the night curfew timings have been relaxed by an hour.
The notification stated that the night curfew restrictions will come into force in all urban areas from 10 pm to 5 am from February 1, 2022, from the present 9 pm to 5 am. The restrictions will continue till February 28, 2022.
All shops, malls, shopping complexes, markets, haats, cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment complexes, theatres, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places shall remain open across the State from 5 am to 10 pm every day during the month of February.
During the night curfew period, restrictions shall not apply to permissible activities and other emergency services. Home delivery of food, groceries, vegetables, egg, fish, meat, milk and other essential items by restaurants and aggregators such as Zomato, Swiggy, OPOLFED, OMFED, Chilika fresh will continue without any restrictions.
