By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, October 2, 2020: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday inaugurated three power station projects in Kalahandi district through video conferencing here.
These power projects would benefit over 30,000 people of Jaypatna, Koksara and Kalampur in the district, Patnaik said while launching the project, which will benefit the farmers, women and students.
Besides a 220/132/33 KV Grid Sub-Station at Baner in Jaypatna area, two 33 KV feeder lines also were also launched.
The 220 KV Jaypatna Grid Sub-Station has been set up at an estimated cost of Rs 82 crore. The grid sub-station will enable the people of Kalahandi for the first time to get power supply directly from the Indravati hydropower project.
In future, 47 km long 132 KV double circuit line will connect Junagarh.
