By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, March 9, 2021: Odisha received 9,04,180 doses of Covishield vaccine this evening, said an official press communiqué.
As per data shared by the Health & Family Welfare Department a total of 9, 68,766 beneficiaries have received the jab against Covid-19 till date.
Out of them 3, 03,982 are Health Care Workers (HCW), who have received the first dose; 2, 17,563 are HCW, who have received their second dose; 1, 73,581 are Front Line Workers (FLW), who have received their first dose; 37,468 are FLW, who have received their second dose; 10,807 are persons in the age group of 45-59 who have co-morbidities; and 2, 25,365 are persons aged 60 years and above.
The Health Department communiqué said that at total of 63,929 beneficiaries were administered with Covid-19 vaccine in the State by 6.00 PM today in 525 active sites out of which 39 are Covaxin.
Out of the total beneficiaries who received Covid-19 vaccine shots today, 600 were HCWs who received their first dose; 7021 were HCWs, who received their second dose; 903 were FLWs, who received their first dose; 16,231 were FLWs, who received their second dose; 1767 were persons in the age group of 45-59 years and 37,407 were persons of 60 years and above age.
No AEFI (adverse event following immunization) was reported in the State today, press communiqué said.
