By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, April 27, 2019: BJP president Amit Shah Saturday said that Odisha can grow only if the “corrupt and inefficient” BJD government is ousted.

Addressing rallies at Morada in the tribal dominated Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha constituency, Shah said people across the country have resolved that Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister again.

“I have already addressed election meetings in 261 Lok Sabha constituencies. From east to west and north to south, I could hear people chant Modi, Modi.

“It is clear that the whole country has resolved to make Modi the prime minister once again,” the BJP chief claimed.

Claiming that the rising popularity of BJP is giving sleepless nights to BJD, Shah said people of Odisha must vote BJP to power both at the Centre and in the state for speedy development.

Saying that Prime Minister Modi has not taken a single day leave in the last two decades and had worked 18 hours every day, Shah said, the BJP government has granted Rs three lakh crore for infrastructure development in Odisha and Rs 6000 crore for the development of tribal dominated areas under district mineral fund.

“If the BJP is voted to power in Odisha, we will give Rs 3000 as pension to the farmers every month. Besides, we will provide loans to small farmer without interest. We will spend Rs one lakh crore to irrigate land of farmers by getting water from Mahanadi and other rivers”, Shah declared.

Shah also hit out at previous Congress-led UPA Government accusing it of having failed to deal with Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
