By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, December 17, 2016 : The Odisha government on Saturday announced a seven per cent hike in the dearness allowance (DA) for its employees with retrospective effect from July 1, 2016.

This was announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.

The Odsiha government pensioners will get Dearness Relief at 7%, the CM added.

Approximately four lakh State government employees and three lakh pensioners will be benefitted with the recent hike in the dearness allowance and decision.

the State government employees are currently getting 125% dearness allowance.
