By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, November 11, 2016 : Some 300 to 700 industries from across the country and abroad are expected to participate in the Make in Odisha conclave scheduled to be held here from November 30 to December 2.

Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi informed this after a preparatory meeting held at Secretariat here today.

The state government plans a total 280 stalls at the conclave, being organised jointly by the state government and the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Government of India.

Padhi said agriculture, food processing, petroleum industry would to be given focus at the three-day meet.

New policy for MSMEs, textile and handloom industries would be brought out soon, Padhi informed. Sources said several projects will be showcased at the event to lure investments in various sectors.
