OdishaBy Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, October 16, 2015 :   Branding Odisha as an investment destination is crucial to woo  investments in the state.

The state hopes to get worth Rs 1.75 lakh crore within four years in the state if there could be a paradigm shift in the investor perception about Odisha, according to chief secretary, G C Pati.

“Along with communicating on opportunities and potentialities available here cabinet press meetto the world outside, we have to implement our progressive policies in a team spirit,” Pati said.

Pati emphasized on implementation of the IPR-2015 with team spirit to ensure improvement in the rank of Odisha in the ‘ease of doing business’ and will have great positive impact on the investor’s perception.

“Various formulations were carved out for setting the vision and to brand Odisha as an investment destination,” said a senior official.

It has been decided to share information with a larger professional group and also invite suggestions from people before finalising the vision and the brand, he added while inaugurating a one day Workshop on Friday here.

The workshop deliberated on various dimensions of brand building keeping the opportunities in mind.
