Odisha brings 89 services Under Right to Public Service Act, 37 goes online

In another step towards good governance and maintaining transparency in delivery of public services, Odisha has notified 89 citizen oriented services under Right to Public Services Act out of which 37 services have been made online.
The State Legislature had passed Odisha Right to Public Services Act in 2012 to provide public services through a transparent and time bound process.
Reviewing the progress, chief secretary G C Pati has asked the officials to make other 44 services of five departments online by May, 2015.
The delivery of services is being monitored through dedicated software under Centralized Monitoring System (CMS), officials said.
