By Bizodisha Bureau, Bhubaneswar, March 24, 2019: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha twice on March 29 and April 1 to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming general elections 2019.

Modi will address election rallies at Jeypore on March 29 and Kalahandi on Utkala Dibas i.e April 1, BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra said on Sunday.

Prior to Modi’s visit, six union ministers – Radha Mohan Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, RK Singh, Ram Vichar Netam, Sanjay Paswan and Jayant Sinha, are scheduled to visit Odisha on March 26, he said.

BJP has released its list of candidates for both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. In the first list, the party announced poll candidates for 10 Lok Sabha and 100 Assembly seats in Odisha. The second list was announced late on Friday night with nomination of 5 candidates for Lok Sabha and 22 for Assembly seats the State.
